Research interests

Dipyrrin-based complexes and assemblies

Functionalized bis-pyrrolic ligands of the dipyrrin type are explored for the preparation of luminescent complexes and assemblies,1 for the stepwise and one-pot construction of heterometallic coordination polymers,2,3 and for their tendency to bind Ag(I) cations by Ag-π interactions.4

Conducting coordination polymers

Tetrathiafulvalene and dithiolene ligands bearing peripheral coordinating groups are developed for the elaboration of coordination polymers featuring an organization of the redox-active cores prone to favour a conduction pathway.5,6,7

Deep eutectic solvents for the synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks

The use of deep eutectic solvents as media for the synthesis of porous materials of the MOF type is currently being explored.8,9
